Signatures and Approvals

Learn how to request and collect electronic signatures from clients.

Signatures and Approvals

You use the Signature block to collect binding electronic signatures directly in the portal. You do not need a separate e-signature subscription.

You attach your legal text or PDF to the checklist. The client reviews the document and signs using their mouse or touchscreen.

Requesting a Signature

  1. Open your project checklist in the builder.
  2. Drag the Signature block onto the canvas.
  3. Enter the label and instructions for the client.
  4. Paste your legal text into the provided text area.
  5. Save the checklist to deploy the request to the portal.

Signing the Document

  1. The client opens the signature task in their portal.
  2. The client reads the provided legal text or document.
  3. The client clicks the signature pad area.
  4. The client draws their signature or types their name.
  5. The client clicks submit to finalize the approval.
