The Checklist Builder
How to use the Builder IDE to design custom client requests.
The Checklist Builder
The Checklist Builder is the core tool you use to request information from clients. You construct visual forms by adding different field types to a blank canvas.
You decide exactly what data, files, or signatures the client must provide. The builder updates in real time so you see exactly what the client will see.
Adding Basic Fields
- Open a project and navigate to the checklist editor.
- Locate the field block menu on the screen.
- Drag a Short Text or Long Text block onto the canvas.
- Click the block to edit its label and description.
- Toggle the Required switch to enforce completion.

Requesting Files and Media

- Drag the File Upload block into your checklist.
- Click the block settings to configure limitations.
- Specify the maximum allowed file size.
- Select the accepted file extensions.

Organizing with Sections

- Place it between distinct groups of questions.
- Enter a title for the section to guide the client.
